Hotel Du Vin Shoot

The shoot involving our interview with Mark Davyd proved to be rather successful and there were no technical problems with the cameras this time. The sound that was monitored closely appeared to be of good quality and the positioning of the camera appeared appropriate and I am happy with the end result.

We used naturalistic lighting instead of the lighting equipment which worked well because the filming area was well lit, being inside the hotel building itself in an area open to the public.

The general public, including the guests at the hotel were also of little bother. They were very understanding of what was happening and didn't try to intervene on our work. There is the odd sound of people moving about and soft chatter but nothing hat cannot be drowned out during the editing process.

Overall, I found this shoot to be a success and will fit perfectly alongside the previous footage we'd shot at the Attic previously. We can easily cut between the two pieces of footage and create a story around these.
